We celebrated Seollal, the Korean Lunar New Year, with a joyful and meaningful day at King’s Kids.

Dressed beautifully in traditional hanbok, our students stepped into a festive atmosphere filled with bright decorations and warm New Year wishes. Our special photo zone welcomed the children as they proudly shared smiles and greetings to start the year together.

Throughout the day, students experienced traditional Korean games, including archery and cooperative team challenges that encouraged focus, confidence, and teamwork. Laughter filled the room as they explored these cultural activities hands-on.

The celebration also included creative craft time, where students designed colorful traditional-pattern artwork and made their own New Year decorations. One of the highlights was our festive cooking activity, as children carefully decorated special Seollal treats with creativity and excitement.

Through play, art, and shared experiences, our students deepened their understanding of Korean tradition while creating joyful memories with their teachers and friends.

We are grateful to begin the new year together and look forward to a wonderful year ahead at King’s Kids.
